Project Manager, People Technology

  • Full-time

Company Description

We started with a simple idea—that everyone should be able to accept credit cards—and we've been rethinking buying and selling ever since.

Buying and selling sound like simple things—and they should be.

Somewhere along the way, they got complicated. We’re working hard and building a team to make commerce easy for everyone.

Job Description

Success within our diverse range of projects requires the ability to adapt and perform in numerous ways. Think about just logging into one tool for your benefits, payroll, talent and feedback needs? Whether it’s compensation, learning, performance management, promotions, benefits, or hiring - there’s a piece of HR technology each Square interacts with and you could help make that experience seamless.

You will:

  • Be creative in designing solutions with Square partners that are elegant, seamless and scalable.

  • Establish collaborative partnership with key stakeholders to assess and recommend optimal business and technical solutions.

  • Lead cross-functional delivery teams to deliver impactful technology and business outcomes.

  • Be a strategist - focused on the roadmap while defining, building, integrating and delivering

  • Develop integrated technical project plans to establish, monitor, manage and report key milestones and deliverables.

  • Support the triage and resolution of critical project issues and scope changes throughout the project phases.

  • Prepare and deliver effective communications regarding status of project for both people team, executive teams and IT partners.

  • Perform hands-on project work, including analysis, design, process engineering, workflow design and change management, as needed by the project.

  • Push the boundaries of traditional HR and take intelligent risks to move the function forward
