We’re looking for a talented Systems Engineer to join our Information Technology team, providing world class service and building the infrastructure that is internally important to keeping the company running. We rely on automation, Linux, scripting, and deploy services both purchased and internally built.

You Will: 

• Configure servers and services to integrate and serve the internal corporate needs of Square.
• Manage UNIX-based and UNIX-like operating systems.
• Automate with Puppet.
• Help design and architect services to be highly available by need.
• Monitor and maintain system uptime and availability.
• Research and test new possible products for Square IT to deploy internally.
• Help manage, maintain and architect system security and automation.
• Integrate off-the-shelf software with open-source tools and home-brew.

You Have:

• Heavy experience with Linux.
• Experience with storage architecture, data centers, networking, virtualization.
• Heavy experience with puppet, scripting, automation.
• Experience with Foreman, VMware, NetApp, AWS, VDI
