SBPH is a 40-bed state-of-the art community facility utilizing the newest advances in medical technology and patient-centered care to save lives, promote good health and advance the quality of life for the people of St. Bernard Parish and the surrounding region. 

Ensure the financial viability of the hospital by establishing and monitoring financial plans and budgets. Manages the financial affairs of the hospital according to business unit goals, sound business practices, corporate and hospital policies, and according to various government regulatory requirements. Analyze daily operating results to ensure that revenues, expenses, and labor are within budgeted bjectives; advises department heads and administration of needed changes, improvement, etc. Establish and maintain sound financial controls and record keeping with as few employees as possible. Approve financial expenditures up to level established by CEO. Keep abreast of government regulatory requirements and rapidly changing reimbursement environment to develop and implement changes to policies and procedures as needed.

B.S. Degree in finance, accounting, or equivalent, CPA and / or MBA preferred. Five or more years of progressively responsible hospital finance experience. Excellent managerial and communication skills.
