Job Description
Develop and execute on a business plan for the branch in line with the local market opportunity targeted toward mining identified ecosystems.Deliver a consistent high-quality service to all customers by effectively managing all available resources (employees, systems and processes).Accountable for the day-to-day management of all the branch operations
- Drive a customer centric culture focused on providing a high-quality customer experience. Resolve customer queries and complaints within established timelines. Create a warm and welcoming environment in which customers feel valued and appreciated while visiting the Branch. Treat all customers fairly and in accordance with the financial consumer protection guidelines
- Build a strong network of relationships with key individuals in the Branch’s area of operation. Lead multi-functional customer visits in line with the Branch Local Market Initiative plans.
- Gain an understanding of the various business segments in the branch’s local market
- Prepare the branch’s business development plan in alignment with the identified opportunity in the local market and existing or new ecosystems
- Deliver financial targets and agree related sales activities in line with the Branch Local Markets Initiatives plan. Drive a sales culture that is informed by the prevailing customer needs and coach the team on workable solutions to respond to those needs.
- Proactively monitor that internal controls are effectively executed and maintained at acceptable levels in the branch to manage operational and compliance risks
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree Business Administration, Commerce, Economics or business-related courses.
- Other certifications or professional memberships: ACCA
- A seasoned banker with at least three years or more branch banking experience (including income statement management and all aspects related to sales and service).
- Three years of experience in a management position leading a diverse team
