RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Designs and develops software components and applications.
• Develops and executes test cases against unit releases.
• Develops and executes regression test plans against software code releases to
  ensure that code corrections have not impaired previously validated areas.
• Ensures that software defect states are accurately updated upon completion of
  verification tasks.
•  Maintains a high level of system knowledge.
• Works with Operations, Customer Service, and possibly Clients to gather relevant
  data to determine product requirements.
• Utilizes System Observations, System Logs, Database records and Test Lab
  reproduction to demonstrate clear understanding of the issue.
•  Validates that new releases are ready for deployment and document the same for the
  Client.
• Clarifies details of software release.
• Demonstrates within the Test Lab environment any or all of the documented test
  results for the product owner and possibly the Client.
• Works as part of a Scrum team and within Agile development methodology. Self-
  motivated team player with a positive attitude. Good interpersonal skills and the
  ability to interact with professional technical and non-technical persons.
  

EXPERIENCE:

•  Knowledge of SQL and Oracle PL/SQL.
• Scripting skills, HTML 5, JavaScript, JQuery.
•  Familiarity with jar/war files repository management tools as well as deployment
  tools for java applications is desirable.
•  Experience working with shell scripts, JAVA, Service Oriented Architecture and XML
  files.
• Java Enterprise (JEE), e.g., EJBs, App Servers (JBoss, Spring, JSF, Struts) and
  version control tools (Subversion, Git) and Continuous Integration tools
  (Hudson/Jenkins).
  

REQUIREMENTS:

• Degree in Software Engineering or equivalent plus a 4 years plus in web development.
• Java Enterprise (JEE) knowledge/skills with JSF required (e.g., EJBs, App Servers
  (JBoss, Spring, Struts, etc.); version control tools (Subversion, Git); Continuous
  Integration tools (Hudson/Jenkins).
• Shell scripts, Java, Service Oriented Architecture and XML files.
• Familiarity with jar/war files repository management tools & deployment tools for Java applications.
• Scripting skills, HTML 5, JavaScript, JQuery.
• Knowledge of SQL and Oracle PL/SQL.
• Excellent understanding of software development “best practices” and lifecycle issues
  (scalability, manageability and deploy ability) & TDD frameworks (JUnit).
• Excellent understanding of QA process and software development lifecycles.
