Job Description

Working in HR:

HR across Statkraft is continuously working to enable good organisational and people development, and the best possible day-to-day employee experience for our Statkraft colleagues. We are currently seeking an HR business partner that will deliver strategic and proactive HR support to our newely established and growing team based in our Warsaw Office. This is a part-time role (20-25 hrs./week). 

This role will partner with business leaders to define and execute specific people agendas, derived from business and HR strategy, focused on employee experience, talent management, future of work, employee engagement and more.

To be successful in this role, you must understand business priorities and translate them into the highest impact work. You will help business leaders look around corners with evidence-based recommendations that improve performance, retention, and the overall employee experience. To succeed, you will need a flexible skill set, including the ability to think strategically, execute tactically, and collaborate across teams, levels, and different countries.

Your role:

This role will report to the Poland Country Manager with a dotted line into Corporate HR.

  • Be first point of contact and proactive HR Partner for Poland supporting the whole employee lifecycle and delivering on the Statkraft HR wheel.
  • Support management teams and leaders locally in a strategic and proactive way.
  • Make the matrix work – coordinate with HR in the respective Business Areas, corporate HR functions, HR shared services and HR in other countries to ensure great HR delivery for leaders.
  • Develop, define, and implement specific local processes and concepts based on local needs, where these are not covered by global processes and initiatives.
  • Ensure adherence to employer responsibilities and related legislation, agreements, and policies in Poland through solid advice to leaders. Examples include:
    • Benefits set-up and execution/administration
    • Policies and procedures – employee handbook creation
    • Contracts and employee administration.
  • Support Country Manager by managing the office and all country management administration/coordination activities

Qualifications

  • Relevant university degree
  • Experience from both operational and strategic HR roles where you work to ensure great support and advice to leaders and employees
  • Experience from working in an international matrix organisation
  • Knowledge of local labor law and regulations
  • Collaborative mindset and ability to work efficiently with others to deliver
  • Good communication skills (oral and written), fluent in Polish and English
