It is the responsibility of the Saw/Coolant Specialist to present a product portfolio that includes such products as high-quality bandsaw blades, professional trade hand tools, power tool accessories, sawing fluids, metal working fluids & cleaners catered to the industrial& MRO markets while observing the principals stated in Stellar’s Mission Statement and Vision.

Expectations as a Saw/Coolant Specialist, you will be responsible to:

1. Support coverage of assigned accounts and/or within an assigned geography
2. Assist sales management in reaching business plan goals
3. Understand and achieve sales targets and objectives
4. Demonstrate products and train customers on product applications
5. Sell Lenox and Master Chemical Products such as: Bandsaw blades, Professional trade hand tools, Power tool accessories, Sawing fluids, Metal working fluids & Cleaners
6. Understand customer processes and sell value versus price
7. Work with Stellar Industrial Supply sales representatives, customer specifications, and material approvals through conducting joint sales calls and providing product training
8. Drive forecast attainment for a zone
9. Understand distributor business strategy
10. Develop strong relationships with, Lenox and Master Chemical sales representatives, Stellar branch managers, CSR’s, current customers and prospects.
11. Understand customer business priorities.
12. Understand customer manufacturing processes.
13. Utilize solution-based selling skills.
14. Manage business planning and execution process.
15. Track and measure results against business plan.
16. Meet or exceed customer expectations

Must have:

• Desire to work in outside sales
• Experience with Cutting Tools/Machining/ Abrasives/ Industrial/Metalworking is highly desired
• Knowledge of cutting tools is required
• Excellent communication skills
• Organizational and data entry skills
• Ability to multi-task

While based out of Portland,OR this position requires travel throughout all Stellar branches (Washington, Oregon, and California) and beyond.
