In this role you will be expected to create value and contribute to the growth and profit expansion of the company in the area of technology.  As part of the technology team, you will be responsible for technical support and promoting the learning and use of technology.  This includes but not limited to, automating business operations, monitoring business systems, developing reports, monitoring desktop computing, mobile devices, telecommunications, video conferencing and accompanying software support to employees as appropriate.  This role is responsible for coordinating technology resources and collaborating with all departments including, operations, sales, accounting, product management and management.

Major responsibilities and expectations:

1)      Provide technical support for LAN/WAN , desktops, laptops, smartphones and other technology devices

1. Administer and upgrade end user computer systems, laptops, mobile devices, remote devices and desktops.
2. Provide trouble-shooting services where appropriate and assist users with computer and network access issues.
3. Communicate status and issues to the department and end users.
4. Review and assess various technical issues and then communicate the solutions to the users.
5. Provide initial software installs and configuration to new PCs, laptops, mobile devices, Wyse terminals and assist with software rollouts and upgrades.

2)      Automate and streamline business process using SQL, .NET, C# and other technical tools

3)      Support emerging technologies in our industry

1. Enhance professional knowledge and attend training as appropriate.

4)      You will provide technical support for installations, configurations, follow-up support, and troubleshooting for hardware, software, and network issues. 

5)      Coordination of between departments to drive technical and operational goals

Qualifications:

• Must have an Associate’s degree or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school; or two  years related experience or training
• General knowledge of software/hardware support processes and proficiencies is a must
• Must have experience with SQL databases, .Net , C#, or Visual Studio (or equivalent)
• Proficient in Microsoft Windows server operating systems: including Server 2003, 2008, XP, Win 7/8, and Office Suite
• Working knowledge of Apple products (MAC, iPhone, iPad)
• Working knowledge of WAN/LAN topology
• Working knowledge of ERP concepts (Epicor Prophet 21 a plus)
• Working knowledge of LEAN is a bonus
• Ability to travel approximately 25% of time and some evening and weekend work.
