Straight Forward is a Wisconsin based call center with locations in Sauk City, Eau Claire, Rice Lake, Brodhead and Menomonie, WI. Straight Forward provides call center solutions for a variety of clients primarily in the Cable industry.

So, what will I actually be doing?

As a telephone sales advisor you'll be selling products and services mostly in the telecommunications industry by calling current clients. Working within a team of other sales advisors, your day will be spent mostly calling buyers and persuading them to purchase a product. It’s that easy.

I hate mornings!

We work from 11:30 am to 8 pm and flexible, part time hours are available. No need to get up at the crack of dawn.

The good...

This job is not for those that like to work alone, there is always something going on and can be noisy and chaotic. Very much a typical desk job, you'll be tied to the telephone and sitting at your workstation for long periods of time so it’s not a career for anyone who fears feeling office bound. Working as a telesales advisor can be one of the most exciting and rewarding starts to any career. The environment is vibrant, competitive and exciting. It is a very social environment with lots of opportunity to make new friends and meet new people.

...and the bad

This job can be very results driven but successful people are well rewarded. If you can't handle rejection, this may not be the job for you. A lot of telephone activity needs to take place to communicate with the right people; therefore, even with well-targeted and professional sales approaches, there will be some frustrating days.

Required Qualifications:

• Self motivated, sales oriented and reward driven personality.
• Ability to read and use a computer, and use a headset telephone device.
• Ability to prioritize and organize effectively.
• Ability to read, write and effectively speak the English language to communicate with employees, customers, suppliers, in person, on the phone, and by written communications in a clear, straight-forward, and professional manner.
• Ability to work independently under general supervision.
• Knowledge and ability to use office equipment including: computer, headset telephone, copier, fax, calculator, and stapler.
• Knowledge of all functions and related tasks in the areas of sales customer relations.
• Knowledge of or the ability to quickly learn and apply knowledge to sell telecommunication services.
• Ability to sit for long period of time
• Ability to handle stress and effectively work in an office environment with moderate noise level.
• Ability to reach with hand and arms, to bend, to talk and hear and to read.
• Ability to use, handle, and manipulate objects such as paper, pencils, keyboards, mouse and headset telephone device.
