Job Description

Training and Development is responsible for all updates to existing training curriculum that is used in the development of new and existing sales advisors. Every trainer is accountable to the accuracy and delivery of all materials through classroom delivery and web-based learning environments throughout all sites. Members of the Training and Development team are responsible for all new hire advisors in all of Straight Forward’s locations throughout their initial 30 days of hire and communicating on-going needed development. The members of Training and Development are responsible for the accurate and timely reporting of all hours, performance and ID’s to members of Employee Relations, QA, Operations and Recruiting.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES

• Communicate training needs for Region to development leaders and accountable for meeting performance standards

• Communicate development needs for improved site performance in regards to recruiting and training to Employee Relations and Recruiting Manager and CEO.

• Communicate development opportunities for increased performance and quality

• Participates on weekly Training calls

• May be required to make client specific updates to training curriculum for new-hire and up/cross training needs

• Active role in the development of curriculum

• Ensures all training schedules and new-hire details are finalized prior to first day of training

• Conducts observations of new Sales Advisors and provides prompt feedback

• Represents Straight Forward Training and Development during client visits both on and off site as needed

• May be asked to make updates to region’s attrition tracker

• Expected to participate in interviews for both new training staff and/or advisor applicants for region

• Provide feedback on current policies and procedures in regards to Training, Recruiting, QA, and Operations and make recommendations for improvements

• Completes administrative responsibilities in an accurate and timely manner including but not limited to scheduling, operations and QA for matters of Hours, ID’s, Logins, Schedules, On-boarding paperwork, termination forms, and group recaps.

• Has professional presence in all Straight Forward and client locations at all times
• Responsible for the appearance and cleanliness of training rooms within Straight Forward sites
• Accountable to the successful completion and attainment of company and department specific goals being met
• Results-oriented leader
• Carries out all company policies and procedures according to Straight Forward Employee Handbook
• Communicates any observations unrelated to daily duties, roles and responsibilities to appropriate parties that could impact the success of Straight Forward and meeting company goals
• Understands all Straight Forward goals regarding hours, revenue, new business attainment, etc.
• Effective delivery of both oral and interpersonal communication with all staff administrative and advisor level

EXPERIENCE

• 2+ years of experience in sales and training desired
• Intermediate level knowledge of Microsoft Office and other training platforms desired
• 1+ years of experience in call centers desired

EDUCATION

• Associates or Bachelors and/or equivalent work experience desired
