Job Description

Straight Forward in Eau Claire Wisconsin is looking to add a Trainer to our growing company. The Trainer will provide training and skill development to all new and existing Sales Advisors. The goal of this job is to help new and existing employees reach their potential through our proven curriculum and engaging activities that challenge thinking and teach them new approaches for increased job performance. Training is responsible for all updates to existing training curriculum and the Trainer is accountable to the accuracy and delivery of all materials through classroom delivery and web-based learning environments. Members of the Training and Development team are responsible for all new hire advisors throughout their initial 30 days of hire and communicating on-going needed development. The Trainer is also responsible for the accurate and timely reporting of all hours, performance and ID’s .

ESSENTIAL DUTIES


• Communicate training needs for meeting performance standards

• Communicate development needs for improved site performance in regards to recruiting and training to Employee Relations and Recruiting.

• Communicate development opportunities for increased performance and quality

• Participates on weekly Training calls

• May be required to make client specific updates to training curriculum for new-hire and up/cross training needs

• Ensures all training schedules and new-hire details are finalized prior to training completion

• Conducts observations of new Sales Advisors and provides prompt feedback

• Represents Straight Forward Training department during client visits both on and off site as needed

• Works closely with operations and QA to actively increase performance.

• Has professional presence at all times

• Accountable to the successful completion and attainment of company and department specific goals being met

• Carries out all company policies and procedures according to Straight Forward Employee Handbook

• Understands all Straight Forward goals regarding hours, revenue, new business attainment, etc.

• Effective delivery of both oral and interpersonal communication with all staff administrative and advisor level

• 2+ years of experience in sales and training desired

• Intermediate level knowledge of Microsoft Office and other training platforms desired

• 1+ years of experience in call centers desired

• Results-oriented leader

• Associates or Bachelors and/or equivalent work experience desired
