Job Description

The Recruiting Coordinator is responsible for interviewing, testing and referring applicants for Sales Advisor position. Considerable skill in interviewing techniques, extensive knowledge of personnel policy and procedure and federal and state laws regarding employment practices are essential. Familiarity with the call center environment is a huge plus. The recruiter analyzes the information provided on a prospective employee's application form, performs background checks, conducts a personal interview and determines the suitability of the applicant for employment.

What you'll be doing:

  • General administrative work including but not limited to excel spreadsheets and Microsoft word documents as well as setting appointments in outlook and creating PowerPoints.
  • Assist in drafting job descriptions, job advertisements and job postings externally.
  • Coordinate applicants within our applicant tracking system and manage the on-boarding process.
  • As the first point of contact with applicants, be professional, friendly, detailed, and concise when coordinating, scheduling, and managing interview flow.
  • Conduct entry level candidate interviews in a professional and articulate manner and make hiring decisions.
  • Host candidates and ensure that each has a comfortable and inviting experience at Straight Forward.
  • Conduct new hire orientations.
  • Process background checks and all new hire paperwork.
  • Assist with the organization, coordination and deployment of recruiting events.
  • Implement creative and innovative process improvements.

This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Travel within Wisconsin may be occasionally required.

Qualifications

  • 1-2 years of Recruiting and/or Administrative experience
  • Passion for detail, organization, and taking initiative.
  • Demonstrated ability to handle confidential and sensitive information.
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize while maintaining a calm, friendly demeanor.
  • Experience with recruiting process preferred.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency with computer software to include MS Office Suite. Microsoft Word. Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook proficiency is a must.
