The Straumann Group develops, manufactures and supplies dental implants, instruments, CADCAM prosthetics and biomaterials for use in tooth replacement and restoration solutions or to prevent tooth loss.

We are looking for you as an intern/trainee to support our Business Excellence team, part of our Research, Development and Operations organization, in the improvement of existing business and/or development processes. The framework is within 6 months (100%) at our HQ in Basel.

YOUR TASKS

• Establish/update training presentation on adapted business/development processes
• Develop a visual process overview comprising a complete overview on all relevant processes in product development and launch of new products
• Establish reporting platform to visualize status of projects using OneNote / SharePoint by integrating information from Microsoft Project Online and potentially business intelligence module of Microsoft
• Creation of an always up to date overview matrix that shows project progress based on real time information from Microsoft Project online:
  • Generation of specific user requirements for visualization of information for the customers of the reporting information
  • Translation of these user requirements into reality, potentially with the support of external consultants.
• Finalize your findings in a report and/or presentation according to internal standards

• Open-minded and pro-active individual with effective communication skills to be able to interact with people of different levels, hierarchies and departments
• Drive and motivation to generate an impact with what you do
• Eager to learn new tools and understand business processes
• High flexibility within the project to adapt to changes
• IT skill-set with understanding of Microsoft Project (online), Sharepoint and OneNote
• Languages: German proficient; English advanced, both in spoken and written
