Job Description

We are looking for a passionate Quality Engineer (m/f/x) to join the Scientific Support team within our Quality & Regulatory Affairs organization. The position is based in Basel, Switzerland, and reports directly to the Head of Scientific Support. 

YOUR TASKS

  • Equipment  & process validations - planning, execution and reporting
  • Training of quality & compliance concepts and best practice
  • Conducting quality investigations
  • Support of product registration and surveillance activities by generation of supporting technical documentation
  • Planning and performance of technical studies
  • Lead and support Head of Scientific Support with quality & regulatory projects

 

Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a medical device Quality Engineering environment
  • Experience of planning, execution and reporting of equipment as well as process validations
  • Familiarity with shelf life and packaging validations
  • Strong background in natural sciences or engineering
  • Excellent understanding of quality principles and good documentation practices
  • Experience of being audited by notified bodies
  • Proficient in spoken & written English, any other language (i.e. German or French) of advantage
  • Ability to work in multidisciplinary teams and actively cultivate a network of productive relationships as well as a positive and innovative atmosphere
  • Demonstrated ability to plan and work to robust timelines
  • Pro-active and flexible individual, seeking to get things done and at the same time deal with a high variety of tasks
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to absorb and impart information and convince others on a factual basis, both verbally and written
  • Positive and enthusiastic person with an accommodated and helpful approach
