Job Description

Working closely with the Vice-President (External Affairs), the Deputy Community Affairs Commissioner will assist the VP External in the execution of all the projects related to the Montreal and Milton-Parc community throughout the summer.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

1) Drafting content which will be added to SSMU's External Affairs Website;

2) Helping to further institutionalize the Trash 2 Treasure project;

3) Maintaining communications & bureaucratic relations with Milton-Parc community organizations.

 

 

Qualifications

1) Knowledge or interest in political, social movement and governmental affairs;

2) Organization skills;

3) Written and verbal communication skills;

4) Knowledge of design computer programs is considered an asset.

5) Good communication skills both in English and French desirable.

6) Experience with Trash 2 Treasure project and Community Affairs Committee would be an asset.

Additional Information

• Paid position: $13.41 per hour

• Hours: Contract 30 hours

• Contract: July 1st, 2018 through July 31th, 2018
