Description

The Industrial Engineer will be responsible for taking 3D
rendering and converting to manufacturing processes to increase overall
throughput, improve quality and reduce waste. This position will also be
responsible for implementing process improvements using 2D layouts, 3D product
models and statistical process control concepts.

• Knowledgeable of manufacturing
  terminology and practices in signs, trade show products.
  

• Skilled in technical problem
  solving.


• Knowledgeable in 2D and 3D
  modeling, AutoCad, Solid Edge, Lattice3D or equivalent.


• Ability to analyze and
  improve manufacturing processes.


• Analyze data and develop
  metrics and dashboards to be used as process indicators for current and
  future opportunities.


• Knowledgeable in Continuous
  Process Improvement techniques to improve product quality, reduce costs,
  and shorten cycle times.


• Ability to communicate
  effectively and work well with others to accomplish tasks, share best
  practices, and present results and findings.


• Strong involvement with
  manufacturing floor is required.


• Ability to maintain
  professional standards of performance, demeanor, and judgment at all
  times.


• May design and manage
  training programs for personnel concerning all phases of production
  operations.


• Conducts studies pertaining
  to cost control, cost reduction, inventory control, and production record
  systems.


• On the basis of these
  studies, develops and implements plans for facility modifications and
  revisions to operating methods

Qualifications

This position requires a
Bachelors degree in Industrial Engineering or equivalent.

Proficiency with MS
Office and Minitab is desired.

Knowledge of Six
Sigma/Lean/TOC concepts is desired.

Experience in Acad/3DMax DXF
