Job Description

The Search Specialist plays an integral role in execution of the paid search channel in outlining effective strategy and techniques for accounts, as well as implementing the paid search discipline, and presenting recommendations and strategy to client. This role requires a strong understanding of paid search, as well as of all aspects of performance marketing and SEO to effectively drive day-to-day tactical execution of the campaigns in order to continually exceed client expectations. To be successful in this position, an individual must be able to shift focus to different types of projects, be a quick learner, and be proficient with Excel and able to work productively with various team members with minimal supervision.


              • Plan, manage, and execute paid search/Pay Per Click (PPC) campaigns, including but not limited to account setup, strategy development, organization, and management
              • Use statistical analysis to draw conclusions about marketing campaigns and make recommendations accordingly
              • Manage day-to-day communication with client when needed for all things search focused, including best practices, presentation decks, and assisting with strategy plans
              • Own execution of deliverables for clients
              • Mentor and collaborate with Search Coordinators to execute strategy
              • Monitor search trends, best practices, and techniques to ensure account growth and identify new opportunities
              • Proactively research campaign issues and formulate actionable solutions
              • Develop and manage optimization strategies and programs



              • Bachelor’s degree required
              • 2-5 years of experience
              • A working understanding of Display Media, SEO, Affiliates, Feeds, Mobile, Social and Attribution
              • Experience with Paid Search Platforms like Marin Software, DS3, Certification a plus
              • Google Certification (Fundamentals), Analytics and Adwords Certification
              • Ability to work autonomously, and demonstrate self-starter qualities, research PPC issues, and formulate tangible solutions
              • Successfully fulfill the client’s strategy by creating clear deliverables and recommendations
              • Mastered understanding of reported metrics and what they mean
              • Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment, under tight deadlines
              • Proven ability to manage multiple projects, drive hard to completion, and deliver effective results
              • Advanced computer skills, proven proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint
