TITLE:  Clinical Specialist

Overview:
This primary purpose of this position is to provide clinical instruction to new and existing Syneron and Candela customers on an as-needed basis.

General Responsibilities:
•    Maintain and improve on the quality of Candela’s in-service standards and promote a positive learning experience for all customers.  Ensure staff:
o    Welcome any and all questions
o    Understand the variance in customer’s laser experience and respond accordingly
o    Facilitate customer’s understanding between areas requiring strict adherence to established treatment guidelines vs. various techniques which may be employed
o    Adhere to Candela’s corporate standard operating procedures
•    Ensuring that all trained customers are comfortable and confident in their ability to safely and effectively perform treatments on their patients.
•    Obtain a list of all attendees who participated during the clinical instruction of their device(s) and use this list when completing the clinical call report on Syneron-Candela’s International Sales & Reporting website (www.CandelaISR.com) or SalesForce.com
•    Provide Candela customers with answers to their questions whether they are clinical, technical or marketing in nature.  
•    Communicate with their respective supervisor any issues that may need addressing and offer potential solutions to these issues.
•    Facilitate continued education events within specific region.
•    Attend and assist in supporting Clinical Education at National conferences (AAD, ASLMS, etc.).
•    Contribute to the ongoing learning process of all Clinical Specialists/Consultants by sharing information and experiences.
•    Respond to Syneron-Candela customer calls and emails.  Documenting dialog of conversation within the company’s SalesForce and/or Candela ISR databases.


Qualifications:
•    Must be a qualified, licensed nursing professional or similarly qualified para-medical professional
•    Must have 2+ years of Laser and/or Light Based Technologies in Clinical training or support of medical and/or cosmetic lasers.  
•    Experienced, as user of Syneron-Candela products is a plus.
•    Be financially able to travel and cover all travel expenses, which will be reimburse upon submission of receipts.
•    Must have the ability to travel up to 80% of the time including some weekends.
•    Must be driven and have the ability to work independently and with a team.

Additional Required Duties and Responsibilities:

•    As needed, participate in regional workshops and user’s meetings to provide support for Sales, Marketing and Customers
•    Must be available to perform at least 2-4 in-services per week
•    Must be able to travel to customer locations by air or car and with frequent overnight stays
