Synetek Solutions, a Managed IT Services provider with locations in New York, New Jersey and Texas has an immediate opening for a Tier 1 Support Specialist in Northern New Jersey area. This position will require a person who will be traveling throughout New Jersey and New York. This position also requires being on an On-Call schedule which will be shared with other member of the technical team. Applicant must be a self-starter, have strong communication skills, customer oriented, and business presentable. A Reliable vehicle for transportation is a must. This is Full Time position.

Job Description

Synetek Solutions, a Managed IT Services provider with locations in New York, New Jersey and Texas has an immediate opening for a Tier 1 Support Specialist in Northern New Jersey area. This position will require a person who will be traveling throughout New Jersey and New York. This position also requires being on an On-Call schedule which will be shared with other member of the technical team.  Minimum of 2 years of experience providing end-user support for Microsoft Technologies and network infrastructure.
 Experience troubleshooting of Windows desktop environment (networking, OS, Microsoft Office suite, PC hardware, printers)
 knowledge of Windows Server
 Experience with Active Directory basic administration
 Experience using automated helpdesk ticketing systems
 Strong documentation skills and excellent verbal and written communication skills
 Able to convey technical issues and material to a non-technical audience
 Ability to work in a team oriented/collaborative environment
 Ability to multitask and prioritize workload, and adapt to new processes and procedures in a fast paced environment
 Able to handle confidential information in a reliable manner

 Asterisk phone systems
 VmWare
 Appassure Backup
 Sonicwall appliances
 Kaseya/Labtech RMM
 Connectwise
 Crystal Reports
 Needles
