About you 

  • You have work experience or you're looking to make a change and kickstart your career in financial services
  • You have the ability to build rapport and empathy with customers during difficult times
  • You are passionate and driven with a natural willingness to continue to learn

About the opportunity

A role in claims means you're at the front-line supporting our customers. Daily activities include:

  • Managing a portfolio of life insurance claims end-to-end
  • Assessing, analysing, calculating and finalising claims payments
  • Implementing return to work and health strategies
  • Participating in case discussions and conferences
  • Providing an empathetic service through difficult times
  • Engaging internal and external stakeholders, including third party service providers

What are we looking for? 

We’re looking for passionate individuals with the relevant transferable skills and knowledge who want to positively impact our customers lives. We're open to education or experience including:

  • Life, WorkCover, accident and health or CTP insurance
  • Injury management, return to work, rehabilitation, recovery or care
  • Disability, counselling, psychology or mental health
  • Legal, public liability, accounting, finance or tax
  • Nursing, medical management or allied health
