Job Description

Looking for a team player with initiative and excellent interpersonal skills that are flexible, adaptable, creative and results oriented for Finished Goods Inventory Clerk position.  The Finished Goods Inventory Clerk  position involves sorting and counting finished goods products; entering data into the computer system; compiling and preparing Inventory material.

Wage range: $11.00-$13.00 (Based upon experience)

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following.  Although this may be your primary duty or function, you are expected to be cross-trained in other areas of the business and assist in those areas on an as-needed basis.

 

  • Receive products into the inventory system with the correct information, (P/N, Manufacturer, Count, condition) and assign a location
    • Conduct research as necessary to obtain required data on parts
    • Manually enter data in Microsoft Excel
    • Enter all data correctly into computer system
    • Ensure all parts removed from locations are properly entered into computer in order       that all records are updated
    • Store products in an organized fashion so that parts are easily accessible
  • Pull orders as material is awarded
  • Communicate with Corporate Finished Goods Coordinator
  • Extract IC from printed circuit boards
    • Bag and label  chips appropriately for bid process
  • Demonstrate continuous effort to
    • Improve  operations
    • Decrease  turnaround times
    • Streamline work processes
    • Work cooperatively and jointly to provide quality seamless customer service
  • Understand Technology Conservation Group’s QEHS processes and procedures
  • Demonstrate continuous effort to

  • Meet departmental goals and objectives
  • Maintain active involvement in safety committee meetings

Qualifications

Physical Demands

  • Occasionally required to reach with hands and arms
  • Remain in a sitting position for extended periods of time
  • Must be able to lift up to 35 lbs
  • View a computer screen for extended periods of time
  • Stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl
  • Able to hear, see, talk
    • Hear average or normal conversations and receive  ordinary information
    • Vision abilities include close, distance, peripheral, depth perception and ability to adjust focus
    • Speaking abilities to frequently convey detailed or important instructions or ideas accurately, loudly or quickly
    • Must be able to smell chemical or materials on fire
  • Repetitive motion movements using wrists, hands and /or fingers
  • Dexterity; must be able to use fingers to pick up small parts and type
  • Must use and /or wear required safety equipment at all times

  • Ability to print neatly and legibly
  • Ability to work with small parts
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, constantly changing environment
  • Ability to understand and follow verbal and written instructions in the English language
