TREC Global began in 1990 and started by serving the Financial Services and telecommunications industries and over the next several years the company experienced steady growth and market expansion, led by its entry into the Pharmaceutical and Health Care industries.
TREC Global was able to leverage our extensive experience in service delivery to develop end-to-end processes for managing programs onsite and delivering them from TREC Global. We currently have 350 seats in our Manila center currently servicing US clients. Our available area for expansion is ready to accommodate an additional of 200 seats.
In 2012 the TREC America concept was created. TREC America leverages our call center experience to utilize US home based agents. With the technology in place both at a corporate level and at the home based infrastructure we see this is as a major growth area to support companies that want to keep jobs in the US, but still need to realize cost savings to remain competitive. This concept introduces a cost effective way to utilize US based agents and a level of flexibility to handle staffing peaks that has not been available before. In February 2013 we completed our first TREC America seasonal ramp up, which was very successful. We have several more projects in the pipeline and with our distributed model; we see this as a great opportunity for us, our clients and the US economy.
