Taylor Stitch is an incredibly dynamic clothing retailer that prides itself on designing unique and authentic men's and women's wear, with a new product releasing everyWednesday. Needless to say, it's an ambitious undertaking, and things around here are fast-paced and fun. Our small team consists of a handful of exceptionally talented and hardworking folks who don’t mind wearing more than a few hats and stepping in to help out wherever is needed.

Our production model is nearly unheard of: a new product release every single week. At any given time, there are 10-25 different collections or groups of products in production. If you are truly interested in the workings behind garment design and production, this position will deliver the most intimate and hands-on experience available.

This part time position will work closely with the production manger to organize production of all men’s and women’s garments. You must be self-motivating, extremely organized and passionate about learning more about the garment industry. The ideal candidate has a design or production background, recognizes seams at a glance and has a general understanding of garment construction.

• Assist in sample production / specifications to determine any pattern and sewing issues.
• Manage and inventory all trims.
• Inspect all garments and ensure they follow Taylor Stitch standards for quality control.
• Deliver goods and interface with in-city factories regarding production questions and issues.
• Coordinate shipments and arrivals from our Los Angeles manufacturer.
• Input data and help maintain production timelines.
• Create flats and technical drawings.
