We are searching a highly motivated, skilled cloud solutions architect who has expertise in the major languages and services of the major cloud providers: Azure, GCP and AWS. It is essential that this person has built innovative solutions, is customer-facing, and has experience interfacing with Leadership teams at MS and Google. The person we seek will deeply understand the leading-edge technology, processes, programs and products the 3 top modern cloud providers deliver to the market.

Our client is a company trusted by Microsoft and Google, so you will work closely with their cloud teams building nextgen software and being involved in leading-edge products and services. Every day you’ll be involved in something new, getting early heads-up that will enable you to help launch new services to market.

We are looking for Solutions Architects who are Game Changers, up-to-date with all current technology, and from Day 1 can roll-up their sleeves and do anything from doing a deep dive into hands-on development, researching, creating proof of concepts, whiteboards, storyboards and other real-world products that showcase the roll-out of new products to our clients’ customers.

Specifically, you will:

● Understand business goals and drivers and translate those into an appropriate technical solution

● Architect and implement cloud solutions on Microsoft Azure and/or Google Cloud Platform

● Gather technical requirements, assess client capabilities and analyze findings to provide appropriate cloud solution recommendations and adoption strategy

● Create the conceptual, logical and physical design for cloud-based solutions for infrastructure and platforms

● Research, analyze, recommend and select technical approaches for solving difficult and challenging development and integration problems

● Learn and adopt new tools and techniques to increase performance, automation and scalability

● Develop and deliver proposals to clients including content, budgetary estimates, and resource requirements

● Collaborate as part of larger delivery teams which may include project managers, business analysts, architects and developers - both local and remote

● Provide technical direction and oversight to cloud implementation teams

To be successful in this role you will need to have  5 - 10 years of senior-level experience in a customer-facing capacity – having worked at MS or Google as a vendor or as an employee, be able to apply all relevant technologies, taking requisitions and translating them into action items that teams can deliver upon, all the while keeping an eye on quality during development and delivery. You are able to impress and excite our client's customers by bringing a wealth of experience to the table. You are equally able to support and help upscale the existing development team with your coaching, mentorship and team leadership.

Specifically, we are looking for a B.S. in Computer Science, related fields or commensurate work experience,  5+ years architecting and implementing Microsoft Azure and/or Google Cloud Platform infrastructure and topologies,  5+ years software development experience, designing and building enterprise solutions.  

Additionally, strong analytical problem solving ability, good written, verbal communication and presentation skills and someone who is a self-starter with the ability to work independently and as part of a project team.

Performance analysis, troubleshooting and remediation techniques as well as understanding of cloud ecosystem and leading edge cloud emerging technologies are essential to be successful in this role.
