Job Description

We're looking for an electronics technician to join our engineering team, to support the development of smart batteries, chargers,  and other electronics.

DUTIES:

  • Perform electrical tests to support new design and maintenance of existing products.
  • Perform failure analysis
  • Build prototypes or breadboards
  • Evaluate purchased products
  • Generate or refine Bills of Material and other documentation
  • Interface with suppliers, subcontractors, and contract manufacturers when needed
  • Communicate with factories and other design centers in China  (through an interpreter if needed)

Qualifications

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Associate degree or higher in Electronics plus 3 years minimum experience in testing analog or power devices.
  • Experience with testing equipment such as oscilloscopes, volt meters and ammeters, data collection equipment, etc.
  • Ability to troubleshoot electronic circuits.
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Word, Excel, etc.


PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Experience with embedded microcontrollers

Experience with schematic capture and layout software, especially Altium is a plus
