Job Description

The Human Resources Representative manages the day-to-day operations of the Human Resource function. Responsibilities include:

• Recruiting:  functions including conducting job analysis and creating job description, posting for and sourcing candidates, conducting screening interviews, scheduling interviews and holding review meetings

• New hire orientation and onboarding

• Working with management to develop and execute companies HR policies and ensure compliance

• Administer and coordinate training 

• Administer and coordinate employee performance reviews

• Ensure company's compliance with all applicable federal and state employment laws: Administer relevant FMLA, ADA, OSHA policies etc.

• Proactively identifying human resource issues and providing recommendations for improvement

• Provides advice and counsel to managers and supervisors regarding personnel practices, policy and employment laws, and making recommendations relating to counseling, coaching, discipline, and termination

• Acts as first point of contact for employees for performance management and employee relations issues

• Maintain employee files and records, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and confidentiality

• Time card and payroll management

Qualifications

  • 2+ years relevant HR experience

Preferred qualifications:

  • PHR or other similar certifications is a plus
  • Degree in Human Resource is a plus
