Job Description

The Columbia Group (TCG), a technical services support company which has a successful 40+ year history of providing the United States Military with acquisition, logistics management, engineering, design, fabrication, test and evaluation, information technology and financial management support services, is seeking  several  Contract  Administrators.   The Contract Specialist will support a government Contract Office with contract support and review and analysis of contracts. Will be responsible for administration and review of prime contracts, subcontracts, consulting agreements, task orders, teaming and non-disclosure agreements; Develop, prepare, and present special clauses and terms and conditions in bid or proposals related to the award of contracts.  In formally advertised procurements insure that bid schedule is properly structured, prepare solicitation, determine sources to be solicited, conduct pre-bid conferences, processes protests, determines the responsiveness of bids, and makes award recommendation to Contracting Officer. Ensure the compliance of all contractual terms and conditions; Understand the financial reports and the related contract funding documents on assigned contracts and working with program management, finance and accounting; Review solicitation requests to ensure compliance with terms and conditions; Coordinate with managers to ensure contract requirements are fulfilled; Maintain a current knowledge of relevant contractual procedures and practices; Participating in special projects as required.             


Strong working knowledge of Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) and General Services Administration Acquisition Manual (GSAM). A Bachelor’s degree is preferred (HS Diploma with several years of experience may be considered in place of a degree) in a business related discipline with 1-2+ years of federal contracting administration experience to include CPFF, T & M, FFP, and ID/IQ contracts. MS Office & Excel are mandatory. Prior financial experience in the management of government contracts/funding required.
