We have an immediate opening for a web designer in our digital shop.  The ideal candidate is unapologetically DIGITAL, comes from a digital design background, gets how technology advances marketing, and loves to play with everything from product design to snackable content for social media.

Job Description

RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Crushes assignments across user experience and visual design, concepting, and production design with a focus on digital initiatives and fascination with software, adtech, and data-driven marketing.

2. Demonstrates a thorough mastery of responsive design, javascript, css and grid-based thinking.

3. Provides organizational structure, mentoring and evaluation of staff members and contractors under direct supervision.

4. Leads in proposing and executing beautiful, engaging and effective digital creative.  

5. Demonstrates vision and leads by example.

6. Equally adept at the theater of client presentations, recruiting and the heavy lifting of production. 

7. Ensures creative scope, schedule and budget are accurate. Develops and signs-off on creative estimates and ensures high quality, profitable execution of creative deliverables.

8. Maintains consistent communications and awareness of status and project deliverables of all discipline group members' project work.

9. Participates constructively in inter-department and cross-agency communications.

10. Understands the agency’s values and strives to embody them, becoming a model of values for direct staff and other employees and contributing to the evolution of the agency and team.

11. Strives to expand the agency’s relationships with existing clients by elevating the agency’s level of involvement and growing the revenue metrics.


Qualifications

1. Strong creative and conceptual vision for multi-channel marketing/emerging ditial models, and the ability to execute high quality integrated interactive communications against strategic business objectives

2. Expert in graphic design; demonstrated ability to mentor and guide other designers

3. Comprehension of information architecture and editorial disciplines and methodologies

4. Mastery of project concept creation, site architecture, user-interface specification, functionality specification and interactive design

5. Understanding of front-end interactive design solutions for back-end data systems

6. Understanding of capabilities of different platforms and browsers, and their design constraints

7. Demonstrated experience successfully experimenting with new capabilities and emerging technology trends for both client- and server-side technologies

8. Successful experience working with and selling to clients

9. Time management and creative resource management capabilities

10. Absolute mastery of Adobe Creative Suite, Premiere or Final Cut Pro, and Keynote/Powerpoint.
