Job Description

The IQ Business Group (IQBG) is currently recruiting for an experienced Enterprise Content and Records Management (ECRM) Project Manager in HOUSTON TX, who has at least five to ten (5-10) years experience implementing Enterprise Software Solutions and specifically ECRM/Workflow Solutions. Opportunities for advancement exist for the Project Manager who demonstrates leadership and people management skills to assume the role of manager of our ECRM team implementing ECRM for both private and public sector clients. This is a multi-disciplinary role that will require the successful candidate to take on numerous diverse responsibilities and will necessitate the ability to interact closely with our clients’ senior business and technology managers. This position is aimed at someone who is seasoned and has strong business support, business analysis, data analysis and testing experience and strong project management skills. The person taking on this role will be a self-starter, capable of working independently with minimal supervision.

What an ECRM Project Manager will do – Job Description:

  • Project Scope: Develop scope and pricing for enterprise engagements, manage project resources and customer expectations during all phases of a full life cycle ECRM implementation according to contractual obligations;
  • Project Leadership: Lead and navigate the project team thru the entire solutions delivery process;
  • Financial and Budget Management: Manage project resources, payment schedules and expenses according to contract budget;
  • Delivery Excellence: Ensure that the project team produces and delivers high quality deliverables and solutions;
  • Accurate Reporting and Tracking: Ensure project status information is accurately recorded and communicated to both IQBG and client management in a timely fashion;
  • Project Communication & Negotiation: Maintain clear communications with sponsors, stakeholders and project team members; negotiate through impasses to keep the project moving forward;
  • Resource Management: Efficiently assign and manage ECRM project resources;
  • Project Planning and Scheduling: Establish and maintain accurate and up to date project plans;

What an ECRM Project Manager will have – Skills & Requirements:

Five to ten (5-10) years of enterprise ECRM Project Management experience (PMP Certification desired but not required)

  • Experience with industry leading ECRM solutions from vendors such as IBM, EMC, OpenText, Hyland or others: OpenText experience is desired;
  • Solutions Delivery Methodology including exposure to Agile methodologies;
  • Proven Leadership of ECRM technical, analysis and design teams;
  • Excellent communication: Verbal and written, interpersonal and presentation skills;
  • Excellent business management and developmental skills;
  • Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently;
  • Efficient team management skills;
  • Ability to resolve conflicting situations;
  • ECRM Technical Architecture and Design knowledge;
  • Effective problem solving skills;
  • Highly organized and experienced in multi-tasking;
  • Firm understanding of related business technologies – ERP, line of business, BI/A, BPM, GIS etc, and the best practice approaches to their integration with ECRM;
  • Microsoft Office proficient, including MS Project and Visio;

The ability to lead teams responsible for and to Individually perform tasks related to:
  • Defining business process and data flows/analysis;
  • Performing business analysis; assess the scope and impact of system, dependencies and process changes;
  • Facilitating design review sessions with technology teams;
  • Demonstrating new functionality to business and technology users;
  • Working closely with the business and technology to gather testing requirements and acceptance criteria;
  • Designing test plans and test cases;
  • Ensuring that test suites are executed correctly and accurate results are provided to business users and technology. Tasks will include generating impact reports, reconciliations and analysis in support of migration initiatives, and investigating and tracking issues to resolution;
  • Identifying and investigating valuation differences between code releases and applications;
  • Maintain suites of integration and regression tests;
  • Managing communications and expectations;
  • Coordination of UAT activities, releases and migration events and tracking of defects and progress of resolution;
  • Facilitating requirements, UAT sign-off with stakeholders/product owners;
  • Managing project from end to end and escalation of issues in a timely manner;
  • Producing system and process documentation;
  • Ensuring adherence to audit and operational standards;

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree from four-year college or university
  • Minimum of 5-10 years of related ECRM Project Management experience
