Do you want to be part of something amazing? Our engineering team is looking for a superstar Quality Assurance Analyst/Manager to design, build/write, and execute test cases and test plans on computer applications. 

We are headquartered in Beverly Hills and the Quality Assurance Analyst/Manager role must work onsite due to the highly collaborative and iterative nature of the work. 

Do the following activities make you feel STRONG?

• Detect software failures so that defects may be discovered and corrected

• Document anomalies and issues in Bug Tracking systems

• Manually test website and applications using various browsers and hardware

• Document all defects in tracking system

• Validate appropriate data is written to DB table using SQL queries

• Conduct automated testing of website and applications

• Load testing

• Regression testing

• Record and document results and compare to expected results 

• Long-range Q/A planning

• Interview, hire, manage and mentor junior testers and Q/A interns

• Engage with clients on integration, functional, and user acceptance test planning and execution

• Initiate and manage the bug triage process

• Work with Business Teams to ensure software meets technical specifications

• Performance/load testing (JMeter)

• Review help desk ticketing software for outstanding issues tagged to Technology 

• Verify an issue exists

• Document the issue in Bugzilla

• Assign issue to developer for remediation

• Maintain the database of software defects

• Confirm bugs for accuracy

• Assign bugs to developers, content creators, etc.

• Verify that closed bugs are indeed fixed

• Follow up with bug reporters to verify details

• Lead bug review meetings

• Communicate status on bugs to business and technology leads

• Prepare bug reports for leadership

• Coordinate the testing activities for ad hoc testing teams

• Provide test plan/checklists to testers

• Provide application instructions for testers

• Defect confirmation and verify sufficient information

• Research software testing tools and methodologies and make recommendations on how to improve testing processes and software 

• Suggest optimizations to SDLC process

IS IT YOU WE ARE LOOKING FOR? 

• BS in Computer Science or Computer Engineering, or related, preferred. Strong experience may substitute in lieu of formal education

• 5+ years of experience writing test cases and test plans

• 5+ years of bug management software tools (BugZilla)

• 3+ years of experience with test case management software (TestLink)

• 1+ years of experience using automated testing tools and services (Selenium)

• Experience with load testing tools (JMeter, LoadRunner)

• Strong understanding of data integrity standards

• SQL Query experience

WE WOULD LOVE IT IF YOU ALSO HAD...

• Familiarity of HTML, CSS and JavaScript

• Had MySQL experience -- a big plus
