Job Description

America’s Finest News Source is looking for a team of interns to serve the editorial department this summer from June 16th to August 29th (start/end dates flexible). Ideal candidates possess prior editorial experience and an extensive familiarity with The Onion. Interns are expected to work 2-3 full days a week. College credit can be made available, but recent graduates are strongly encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

The editorial internship is a strictly non-writing position. It is neither a creative internship nor a comedy internship; there will be no opportunities to write or pitch headlines. Most duties will involve aiding the general editorial process, helping to compile, track, and organize content, attending writers’ meetings, and assisting writers and editors with various special assignments.
