The Peached Tortilla is a Southern-Asian Fusion Inspired award winning food truck, full service catering company and brick and mortar restaurant. In 2010, we started to roam the streets of Austin in our food truck, serving Asian and Southern inspired tacos and sliders. Over the past six years, we have continued to grow our business, turning into a multi-truck operation, boutique full service catering company, and most recently, our brick and mortar restaurant. 

Our brand is colorful, playful and happy, and the flavors of our food know no limits; to get peached is to be completely flavor smitten! We’re looking for someone who fully believes in our brand, is over the top in love with food, and wants nothing more than to ensure each guest leaves our catering event feeling overly “peached” with the delicious food and impeccable service.

So, what are we looking for at Team Peached? 

Experience. We are continuing our growth at a very rapid pace, and need someone who is able to add to our team with his or her experiences in the realm of catering and events!

• Organization. We have a lot of events that occur daily and need someone who can be on top of all of the moving parts.

• People Lovers. You will be interacting with a lot of different clientele, and a high level of customer service is a must. 

• Team Leaders. We are looking for someone to provide clear directives and lead a team to executive successful events. 

• Problem Solvers. Sometimes oopsies happen or something completely changes last-minute. Are you quick on your feet? 

• Food Lovers. Yeah, you’ll need to like food. It’s kind of what we do.

Specifically, we are in search of a Catering Sales & Event Coordinator to add to our constantly growing catering team. This candidate should have past experience in catering or event coordinating, and the ability to give clients the love and attention they need while juggling multiple tasks and event details. This position will focus on our wedding clientele.


• Work with clients through out the entire booking and coordinating process of an event from initial inquiry to final execution, focusing predominantly on wedding accounts

• Assist with corporate events, food truck events and festivals as needed

• Provide guidance to clients on recommended menu and sequence of events to ensure a seamless event experience for guests

• Answer all client requests in a timely manner

• Create client proposals in catering software system

• Conduct tastings with clients

• Create equipment pull sheets for all events, and place rental orders as needed

• Act as Peached brand ambassador at industry events and open houses

• Weekly meetings with Director of Catering & Events

• Foster relationships with venues and Austin event pros

• Join on venue site visits as needed.


What’s Required:

• Minimum 2 years experience in catering or wedding industry is a must.

• Experience in event coordination and/or SXSW a plus.

• Personal cell phone, computer, and vehicle (mileage reimbursement available)

• Ability to work weekends as needed

• Experience managing large scale events

• Skilled at balancing relationships with internal departments and event employees

• Strong written and verbal communications skills

• Self starter, highly motivated, and eager to grow

• High level of organizational skills and attention to detail

• Capable of meeting a wide array of event related responsibilities and ensuring company standards are met

• Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel (preferred but not required)
