Job Description

Rock Creek is searching for a strategic administrator to help manage our existing and new talent. The HR Coordinator will assist in all human resources related functions. You will play a key role in maintaining employee records and employee onboarding.  This position reports to the Managing Director.   

 

Principle Duties and Responsibilities

  • Coordinate phone, onsite and skype or video conference interviews for candidates with speed and efficiency. 
  • Maintain recruitment applicant tracking system ensuring information is up-to-date; maintain talent database. 
  • Communicate professionally and maintain a high level of confidentiality at all times both internally and externally with our candidates. 
  • Manage our internship program, to including posting job descriptions, screening candidates, scheduling interviews, hiring and onboarding.
  • Produce ad hoc recruiting reports. 
  • Assist with onboarding new employees .
  • Coordinate internal and external multi-participant meetings using Microsoft Outlook


Qualifications

Skills and Experience 

  • 2 years of experience in an HR position with a professional services, finance, technology or legal firm.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources Management 
  • Active SHRM membership (DC Chapter)
  • Proficient with various computer applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
  • Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality
  • Team oriented with strong interpersonal skills
  • Resourcefulness, self-sufficiency, and ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment are highly valued
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision in a fast-paced work environment.
  • Detailed administrative and organizational capability
