Job Description

Te Whiwhinga mahi | The opportunity

This project will update the New Zealand Heart Foundation Guidelines for Rheumatic Fever Diagnosis and Management into an easy-to-navigate, web-based resource for clinicians, patients and whānau. As well as the updated guidelines the project will also develop a rheumatic fever diagnostic App.

There are two key stands to this position. The first is to ensure, the effective operational planning, reporting, delivery and implementation of updated rheumatic fever/rheumatic heart disease guidelines and diagnostic App. The second key role will be to lead the writing process for the updated rheumatic fever/rheumatic heart disease guidelines.

Remuneration: $86,979 - $103,904 dependent on experience and qualifications

Te Kupenga Hauora Māori (TKHM) is located at the Grafton Campus. TKHM represents the Department of Māori Health and is responsible for the coordination of Māori health teaching across the Faculty of Medical and Health Sciences, the Vision 20:20 initiative responsible for indigenous health workforce development and the Tōmaiora Research Unit is responsible for conducting Kaupapa Māori health research and training services.
