We are looking for candidates to submit their expression of interest for temporary roles across the University and who would like to register in our Temp Pool.  Immediate start is always required for Temps on campus.

The length of agreement could be couple of months in length, this could be for 3 - 6 months dependining on the need of that hiring manager.

We are looking for candidates that could be open to part time hours, our requests could be from 18.75 hours per week to 28 hours per week.  Once again depending on request.

The hours needs to be structured and typically that could be monday to Friday, starting between 8 am - 10 am depending on the role.

Our roles vary from administration, coordination, reception.

Dependent on the role, tasks of a temp can include:

  • Assisting a team through a range of administrative functions
  • Updating internal databases
  • Preparing  and formatting documents/reports
  • Responding to queries both internally and externally
  • Organising meetings
  • Writing correspondence
  • Meeting and greeting visitors
  • Booking couriers and organising catering
  • Filing and photocopying
  • Fielding and transferring phone calls
  • Monitoring departmental Outlook inbox
  • Technically proficient in MS Office (online testing is involved)

We are looking for candidates with at least one to two years proven experience in the above areas and the ability to hit the ground running.  Highly proficient using multiple systems and at Intermediate to advanced level on MS Office.  Previous experience within a tertiary environment is preferred but not essential. If you are available immediately and possess the skills and experience, please send through your CV in MS Word format complete with a cover letter indicating your availablity for part-time hours and what that looks like.
