Temp Services is an in-house solution for temporary staffing across the University of Auckland.

We are seeking experienced candiates that are available right away with Accounts Receivable experience and great customer service to join our Shared Transaction Centre (STC) on a fixed term, full time role, starting in July for about 6 months full time, covering staff on leave. This is the University of Auckland’s centralised ‘Purchase to Pay and ‘Order to Cash’ centre. We perform an operational function, consolidating high volume finance transactional activities relating to the purchasing and supply of goods and services. We are responsible for all purchasing, billing, and revenue collection activity for student fees, research activities, faculties, and service divisions. 

Their aim is to deliver effective and efficient transactions through standardised processes, lowering costs, enhancing financial governance, ongoing improved compliance and risk management.

We are seeking an innovative, experienced and highly organised Accounts Receivable candidate to join our team who has preferablily used People Soft Finance or an ERP system. Your responsibilities will involve:

  • Resolving customer and supplier queries on CRM system, responding to large volumes via email (mainly) or phone.
  • People Soft Billings
  • Processing refunds, receipting
  • Reconcillation, investigating unidentified payments
  • Ensuring adherence to the University policy and processes 

Salary range from $47,400 to $59,700 depending on experience.
