Job Description

We are seeking a motivated and responsible Wonderful Scholar for a full-time 8-week internship. Collaborate with our seasoned professionals, gain invaluable skills, and contribute to transforming lives within our community. In this position, you will gain hands-on professional experience and learn how the department runs. Apply now to jumpstart your career in behavioral health! 

This position will be based onsite at the Health and Wellness Centers located in Lost Hills, CA. The start date is June 16, 2025, and the schedule for this internship is Monday – Friday, 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM. 

Duties and Responsibilities: 

  • Front desk 
  • Patient check-in and out 
  • Scheduling 
  • Room stocking/inventory 
  • Special Projects/Outreach 
  • Collaboration with other interns 
  • Some travel to Delano/Lost Hills Clinics  
  • Administrative duties 
  • Other duties assigned  

Qualifications

  • Must be 18 years of age and a Wonderful Scholar active and eligible for college success scholarship 
  • Must upload a resume, professional reference, and cover letter with your application 
  • Preferred Degree: psychology, behavioral science, nursing, medicine, public health, nutrition, pharmacy, kinesiology, and healthcare management. 
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills 
  • Self-directed and able to work autonomously 
  • Energetic and eager to tackle new projects and ideas 
  • Bilingual in Spanish required 
  • Live Scan clearance 

Pay: $18.50/Hour
