The Retail Services & Legal Affairs Department is dealing with all aspects of Tipico’s franchise business. The department is responsible for Contract Management, Accounting & Billing, Risk Management, and Legal & Regulatory Affairs relating to our retail business. It issues contracts to Tipico’s franchise partners and is supervising all related franchisee activities including shop licencing, invoicing, commission calculation, payment behaviour, transaction risk assessment with Tipico’s terms and conditions as well as enforcing our AML and KYC policies within the retail business.

Job Description

What you will do:

  • Assure Franchise Partners Billing and Data Management
  • Administrating accounts receivable/payable and dunning process
  • Processing general accounting and clerical duties
  • Calculating the contracts’ commission and service fees
  • Managing accounting functions including maintenance of general ledger, accounts receivable, loans, deposits and payment of commissions
  • Ensure adequate controls and accuracy are in place and are regularly performed with due care (e.g. bank and accounts reconciliations, mapping of shop channels, authorising block/unblock services to Franchise Partners, days of aged accounts receivables, special agreements)
  • Processing of contract management queries and managing partner queries, via telephone and email, and offering an outstanding service
  • Provide assistance to the Head of Department by identifying and implementing process improvement of accounting processes and procedures
  • Identify problems at an early stage and find creative solutions
  • Contribute to the department team with a positive attitude and a friendly approach

Qualifications

What you offer:

  • Strong background in accounts receivable and debt collections
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal & written
  • 1-2 years’ experience in a customer facing role, preferably within the gaming industry, with a good understanding of excellent customer service practices
  • Experience of all MS office applications, especially Excel
  • Knowledge of Accounting software; experience with Microsoft Dynamics would be an asset
  • Attention to detail and excellent organisational skills
  • Ability to work on own initiative and to plan workload, having a pragmatic approach
  • Customer oriented with good problem-solving skills
  • Fluency in German and English is mandatory
  • Affinity for technology and data is an asset
