ToutApp is looking for a Software Engineer – Full Stack to join our team. As a Software Engineer – Full Stack you’ll be an integral member of our Engineering team working on code infrastructure and bring an instant feedback loop on how our customers are using the product you helped create. As a member of the real-time service Engineering team, you’ll work on solving important problems on a platform that requires a broad range of technical skills.

Responsibilities/ What You'll Do:

• Writing code
• Jumping on screenshares with either our Sales or Success team
• Sit in on a whiteboard session and work on how we’re going to re-architect our back-end to be 25% faster by keeping the front-line API the same, but swapping out the old endpoint with a faster back-end
• Learn a brand new programming language you’ve never used before because there’s a new framework we discovered that allows us to build an important feature that our customers care about
• Joining in an intense debate whether the button should be 3px to the left or the right, because details matter

Requirements/ What We're Looking For:

• A solid professional coding experience, ideally with 3-5 years' with Ruby on Rails and Backbone.js.  
• Experience designing and building real-world web applications (Front-end and Back-end)
• Solid foundation and knowledge of CS principles such as data structures and algorithms
• A good eye for usability and visual aesthetics and willingness to learn more
• Excellent communication skills and attitude
• Willingness to learn and explore new technologies
• Willingness to interact with customer when the code breaks in production
