Job Description

As our Director of Product Management, you’ll be working directly with our CEO on setting and driving product vision for our Sales Acceleration platform. On a day to day basis, you’ll be responsible for wrangling and aligning our Marketing, Sales, Customer Success and Engineering team around product design, requirements, strategy and roadmap.

We’re a scrappy and creative team. You’ll be getting your hands dirty on both inbound and outbound product management activities and working directly with Engineering and Marketing to deliver product.

Your Responsibilities: 

  • Define a concrete roadmap for building an industry leading Sales platform that can help streamline how salespeople spend their day and close deals
  • Deliver MRDs and PRDs with prioritization and corresponding justification
  • Define measurable milestones to achieve the delivery of the roadmap based on a resource plan and a budget. Own and drive feature delivery end-to-end: writing user stories, working with user experience to create prototypes for usability testing, working with development, technical publications, and quality assurance teams to deliver a marketable product on time
  • Drive product requirements from a customer and user driven approach. Prioritize the features to bring a balance between meeting customer demand and building innovation in the product
  • Engage with enterprise customers for requirements gathering, feature requests and roadmap updates
  • Represent ToutApp as a domain and product expert at customer interactions, industry and corporate events
  • Work with external third parties to assess partnerships and licensing opportunities
  • Develop the core positioning and messaging for the product
  • Be an expert with respect to the competition. Create competitive collateral that can be used by sales and marketing to create compelling sales traction
  • Perform product demos to customers and prospects. Enable pre-sales to develop new demos that they can deliver
  • Brief and train the sales force, Customer Support and services delivery groups on new products
  • Work closely with professional services and customer success management on key accounts as related to product strategy and delivery. Be responsible for making the first several customers reference customers
  • Act as a leader within the Company

Qualifications

  • Bachelors' degree, MBA and technical disciplines preferred; Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field
  • 10+ years of product management experience
  • Demonstrated ability to innovate and build new industry leading products
  • Strong project management skills: can prioritize high impact activities and keep complicated projects moving forward
  • Startup DNA: Highly collaborative, self-starter, always interested in learning and growing
  • The passion and proven drive to continually exceed revenue targets in a fast-paced, high growth company
  • Excellent written and verbal presentation skills
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail; ability to manage multiple priorities and tasks simultaneously
  • Strong strategic AND creative thinking, tying features and roadmap to overall company go-to-market strategy
  • Excited to be a leader and grow/teach our product management team
  • Strong interpersonal and relationship building skills; ability to work well as an individual and within a team
