ToutApp is a B2B company that is building software to empower salespeople. Although we’re a B2B company, we strive to design and build software fit for the consumer web. Instead of stuffy, boxy, and boring, we prefer light, airy, slightly playful and fun user interfaces.

We’re looking for our first UI designer to join our Product and Engineering team to help take our web application, mobile app, and integrations into Gmail and Outlook from our 2012 design aesthetics to modern day standards. As the chief owner of UI Design, you’ll own our look, feel, and help express our brand through our user interface. You’ll also get to work with our Product, Marketing and Creative Teams and report directly to the CEO who cares deeply about the intersection of product and marketing.

Job Description

We’re a scrappy and creative team. You’ll be getting your hands dirty and working directly with Engineering and Product to build a delightful user experience.

Responsibilities/ What You'll Be Doing: 

  • Collaborate with engineers, product managers and other team members to clarify requirements, define conceptual ideas and plan projects
  • Own all facets of design: interaction, visual, and product
  • Prototyping skills are a plus but not required
  • Design experiences that are incredibly simple and beautiful

Qualifications

Requirements/What We're Looking For: 

  • Bachelors' degree in interactive design, visual design or equivalent experience 
  • Minimum of 4 years experience as a product designer (or similar role)
  • Startup DNA: Highly collaborative, self-starter, always interested in learning and growing
  • You can think about the bottom line - analytics don’t scare you.
  • You’ve shipped product - you’ve weathered release cycles and know what details matter at each stage.
  • You believe in craftsmanship and creating elegant and compelling designs - your portfolio has some best-in-class work
  • HTML and CSS skills a plus 
  • Excellent written and verbal presentation skills - you must be able to formulate and articulate your design decisions 
  • Fluency in Photoshop, Illustrator, Sketch or other design tools 
  • Outstanding brainstorming and whiteboarding skills 
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail; ability to manage multiple priorities and tasks simultaneously.
  • Strong interpersonal and relationship building skills; ability to work well as an individual and within a team.
  • Personal drive to continually grow and enhance skills and knowledge
