Job Description

  • Responsible for various month-end closing activities, including journal entries, preparation of balance sheet account reconciliations, and financial statement variance analysis.
  • Analyze financial statements for discrepancies, fluctuations and other issues that should be brought to attention
  • Proactively review current procedures and seek ways to improve processes to ensure timely monthly close, accuracy of accounting entries, and operational efficiency
  • Ensure reporting compliance with US GAAP
  • Assist the team in the annual financial audit and other compliance requirement
  • Work closely with the local accounting manager on all team projects and upcoming deadlines
  • Ad hoc accounting projects and requests, as needed

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree, preferably in Accounting, Finance or related area
  • 4+ years experience on a collaborative accounting team
  • Thrive in a fast paced team oriented environment
  • Strong knowledge of reporting and analysis, preferably working with Excel
  • Excellent communication skills
