Role

Our team is looking for an outstanding Frontend Developer who is an expert in client-side development and cares deeply about the end-user experience.

What a day is like:

You’ll be a member of the international and skilled Tradeshift UI team that focuses on our UI Components Library (http://ui.tradeshift.com/), our client-side architecture and our new platform navigation. Your efforts will make a direct impact on the experience of our customers as well as internal and 3rd-party developers.

    Qualifications

    You’re perfect for this role if you:

    We expect you to be passionate about developing great user interfaces, usability, and frontend technology. You should have a solid knowledge of vanilla Javascript, CSS, and cross browser development. It’s an advantage if you know different client-side frameworks and have an intimate knowledge about how browsers work. We value individuals who are passionate, who care, and who can set a direction for their peers.

    You also have:

    • Experience with HTML and CSS
    • Experience with vanilla JavaScript
    • Experience with cross-browser optimization
    • Some experience with modern JavaScript frameworks and libraries such as Angular or React, node.js, webpack, express etc.
    • Experience building high-performance, reliable, high-quality products  
    • Appreciate hacking when needed
    • Fluent in English speaking, reading and writing
