Team 
The Business Network team connects every seller in the world and enables access to cheaper capital, and optimized cash flow. You will be a member of an international, skilled, highly motivated and self-driven production team, and your efforts will have a direct impact on both the experiences of our customers, and the greater functions of our world-glass Tradeshift platform.

Role
Tradeshift is looking for a Java Developer who loves server side development and the backend domain. We value individuals who are passionate about their work and lead by example. You will work closely with designers and other developers in a tightly knit, cross functional, agile team. This is an opportunity to get involved in all aspects of the product development, from user story to final implementation.

What a day is like:
You will report directly to the Director of Engineering (Network & Core UI clusters), and be part of the Business Network team, which is focused on connecting every seller in the world, grow their business, enable access to cheaper capital and optimize their cash flow. 

You’re perfect for this role if:
You are confident with a number of programming languages, operating systems, and architectures, but the major focus is to be strong in Java development. You have fun with your work and with your co-workers, and your goal is to deliver software that enables your clients' success. 

Familiarity with the following technologies are a great advantage:

• Java and/or JVM based languages (like Scala or Clojure).
• SQL based DBs, preferably PostgreSQL
• Linux / Unix operating systems
• Cloud solutions (AWS, Google cloud, Heroku) or you are eager to learn
