About the Team

The Marketplace Operations Team supports the continuous development of Tradeshift-owned and Client-owned marketplaces on the network. The Content Operations team will primarily be focused on ensuring optimal experiences as buyers and sellers search and discover products, services, and Apps within the Tradeshift Marketplace.

Job Description


You will play a pivotal role in developing the way Tradeshift Marketplaces utilize, maintain, and deliver the content that shapes the search and discovery experience for customers. You will be responsible for planning how content is collected, maintained, governed and distributed as we develop new marketplaces. You will be a champion within the company for setting standards that drive a premium online trading experience. 


  • Establish and maintain the guidelines and rules for marketplace content is ingested
  • Develop metrics and catalog health analytics for content scorecarding
  • Lead processes operations related to item setup, images, copy, browse and search attribution, and maintenance of taxonomy
  • Develop a team that will work with sellers and partners to improve catalog, user generated, profile, and app content

  • Prioritize time spent in ways that optimizes for sales conversion by improving top categories and item pages
  • Explore and develop potential partnerships with content service providers
  • Provide content consulting and development services as required for customer-lead project

What a day is like:
Partner with teams from category development, operations, onboarding, and support on long-term strategic operational programs for content onboarding, curation and delivery. You will also lead the operational implementation of a future cross-functional team. You will identify and lead special projects that support business priorities, and catalyze action against these priorities through short and long-range business planning and performance management.


You’re perfect for this role if you:

  • 5+ years eCommerce content or catalog management experience
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • Leverage technology to set more efficient workflows and establish cross-functional process efficiencies
  • Mastery in project management, analytics, Google Docs, and Excel
  • Strong ability to evaluate and resolve difficult or complex issues with dependencies across departments
  • Marketplace or e-commerce experience a major plus
  • Great communicator that partners well with multiple stakeholders
