Responsible for various month-end closing activities, including journal entries, expense accruals, preparation of balance sheet account reconciliations, and financial statement variance analysis.
Analyze financial statements for discrepancies, fluctuations and other issues that should be brought to attention
Proactively review current procedures and seek ways to improve processes to ensure timely monthly close, accuracy of accounting entries, and operational efficiency
Ensure reporting compliance with US GAAP
Assist the team in the annual financial audit and other compliance requirement
Work closely with the local accounting manager on all team projects and upcoming deadlines
Ad hoc accounting projects, process improvement projects, and requests, as needed
Bachelor’s Degree, preferably in Accounting, Finance or related area
4+ years experience on a collaborative accounting team
Thrive in a fast paced team oriented environment
Strong analytical skills and reporting knowledge
Hands on NetSuite experience required, ability to create customized NetSuite reports if needed
Experience with Oracle is highly preferred
Excellent communication skills
Excellent Excel skills (vlookup, pivot tables, SumIf etc.)
