Job Description

The Marketplace Seller Growth Consultant plays as a critical growth function at Tradeshift. This role develops the growth and success of new and existing Seller/Supplier customers on the Tradeshift Network. The primary activities are researching, recruiting, processing prospect through full sales cycle, contracting, and managing the growth of sellers to ensure the most efficient connection to the Tradeshift Network, that Sellers find buyers and publish highly relevant and competitive product or service offers for professional buyers to purchase.

The approach of this leader internally is consultative leadership providing market analysis and offering best practice support with buyer facing teams, management, and partners engaged in the growth of Tradeshift marketplaces.

Actions in this role:

Remain focused to fiercely execute and deliver expected results while also remaining highly adaptable in ever changing environments

Leverage your unique expertise of supplier sales, sourcing, category management or procurement to create new curated seller offers available for purchase in a global business to business marketplace environment

Be an industry expert and have fun showing prospective sellers the innovation and value of Tradeshift's platform

Outperform industry in achieving new seller goals and quarterly targets as assigned

Daily building and managing marketplace seller pipeline and sales cycle, including new seller prospecting, seller contract negotiations, and relationship building with sellers to guide to onboarding and support growth efforts after onboarding 

Identify, qualify, sell, and close new supplier clients

Utilize your current network to expand existing seller coverage and revenue while building new business

Actively drive prospect research, discovery sessions and evaluation stage of the sales process with our prospects and customers

Responsible for sales pipeline reporting and revenue forecast on your seller accounts

Work closely with Marketplace team to shape and understand category strategy and buyer clients needs and understand process of managing long term growth for top seller accounts

Be an evangelist of marketplaces, having fun showing prospective buyers & sellers the innovation and immense value of the Tradeshift platform. Assist in developing strategies that harness the insight and leverage created by an integrated Marketplace.

Managing top seller accounts to support seller’s success on Marketplace

Develop a deep understanding of Tradeshift product and service capabilities, and collaborate with our Sales and Professional Services and Onboarding teams. 

Manage multiple channels of communication in a high-volume frequently changing environment

Qualifications

About you:

2-3+ years experience in enterprise e-commerce sales, account management, retail or marketplace category management, or procurement sourcing

Strong individual performer and team player with a hunger for personal growth and development as a whole person

Excellent communicator who is able to manage relationships virtually

Enjoy working in a fast paced environment that embraces an agile mindset

Highly adaptable to changing circumstances

Emerging expertise in category and program management skills

Qualifications for the role:

Minimum of 5 years project management and/or operational excellence experience

Change management experience working in a high growth organization 

Fluent English, additional languages are a plus
