Job Description

Perform business analysis and technical evaluation of business processes, end user needs, and existing information systems to create accurate business requirements and functional design specifications for solution implementation. The candidate will be responsible for the application design, development and support of Salesforce.com related projects and have the ability to quickly understand the business process in order to properly align with the solution. The candidate must be able to effectively articulate and negotiate design decisions and considerations specific to the target solution.

Responsibilities

  • Develop user stories and to-be process flows to support the design and development of Salesforce solutions for our clients

  • Work collaboratively with team members to design a solution that will meet a business requirements and fulfill user stories

  • Collaborate with developers to test and verify that solutions will meet the business requirements

  • Participate in key meetings with clients including requirement sessions, system demos, user acceptance testing, and end user training

  • Evaluate and characterize trade-offs between project size, complexity, cost, urgency, risk and stakeholder values

  • Professionally document meetings, requirements, plans, schedules and incidents as necessary to drive ‘next steps’ and to keep stakeholders informed

  • Proactively optimize Salesforce.com, review process automation, such as workflow rules to prevent performance issues

  • Manage day-to-day needs, update user permissions, troubleshoot errors, update custom fields, workflow rules, validation rules, clean up page layouts and list views, update Salesforce packages, and maintain security controls

  • Work with teams on optimizing 3rd party integrations into SFDC such as Marketo, RingLead, sales and other marketing / data tools, etc.

Qualifications

Skills & Experience

  • Hands on experience configuring Salesforce or similar CRM Product, including workflows, validation rules, and security controls via limiting access

  • Strong understanding of Salesforce best practices and functionality including experience implementing sharing rules at object, field, and record level for different users at different levels of organization

  • Strong facilitation skills to engage subject matter experts to define requirements and conduct design reviews with project teams

  • Highly analytical, detail oriented, persistent and not afraid to ask questions. Able to analyze, implement and improve complex systems/processes

  • Ability to document requirements, build Salesforce workflows and use cases

  • Working knowledge of applicable data privacy practices and laws

  • Ability to anticipate risks and devise solutions to resolve them in a timely manner

  • Demonstrated success in managing multiple projects/priorities concurrently within aggressive timeframes with an ability to cope under time pressures

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Excellent leadership, presentation, organization and team collaboration skills

  • Comfort with ambiguity, frequent change and/or unpredictability

  • Minimum two years of experience as a Salesforce Administrator

  • Salesforce Certified Administrator preferred

  • Salesforce Certified Advanced Administrator preferred
