Job Description

What we do
First and foremost, we care. We care for each other, the business, our users and our code. We care for democratizing business and building the world’s largest network for businesses.

With Cash, our mission is to offer predictable cash flow to every seller on the Tradeshift network. The Cash team builds end user experience for managing working capital, integrations with financing partners, payments infrastructure, and internal operations and support apps. We want you to come to work everyday with the goal to change our industry for the better.

Job responsibilities:

  • Have direct responsibility for one or two teams of approximately 4-5 developers reporting to you. This includes planning individual growth, holding 1:1s with reports, doing performance reviews, mentoring and coaching for each team member
  • Be responsible for energizing, recognizing and improving where you see fit within your team
  • Be responsible for measuring the performance of your team to meet product delivery goals with focus on the security, quality and maintainability of your deliverables
  • Help guide proper development practices for your domain
  • Contribute technically when needed with code, code reviews, and discussions
  • Work with your team in an iterative fashion, balancing technical debt and major architectural evolutions
  • Be dedicated to meeting our commitments, and for making ourselves and Tradeshift successful.  We strive for work-life balance, and you need to be willing to go the extra mile when needed.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • You have a proven track record of working with cross functional teams to deliver projects within scope, time, budget and quality
  • You have a passion for interacting with many different people to achieve a goal
  • You are interested in problems around concurrency, scalability, and distributed systems
  • B.S. in Computer Science or equivalent
  • Prior experience in Fintech is a plus, but not required

Additional Information

  • Being part of a global team over supporting my immediate neighbors
  • Delivering on promises over working predictable hours
  • Building products users love over products users request
  • Accountability for my work over focusing on current tasks
