Job Description

Tradeshift is looking for a Demo Support Specialist, based in North America, seasoned in B2B technologies, and an opportunity to support our global presales team. The role will not be customer facing, but require significant effort to support our customer facing engineers with demo preparation, RFP responses, updating our demonstration platform, and providing excellent levels of responsiveness during critical periods before key customer presentations. We have set out to change the way that business software works, and this individual will be independent in supporting our efforts in taking the product and platform to new markets alongside our global sales and presales teams. This role reports to the Head of Global Presales, and will work closely with platform operations, and technical support teams to ensure that our ability to showcase the GTM solutions is never interrupted.

Your Role

  • Maintain a deep understanding of our product and industry along with an awareness of the competitive landscape

  • Work closely with platform operations and technical support to address product issues, and support routing updates.

  • Support customer facing solutions consulting team members in North America, but also sometimes globally with environment setup and configuration.

  • Respond to RFPs, received from customers and prospects, using internal data sources, and working closely with customer facing teams. 

  • Work closely with other Demo Support Specialist team members to provide a consistent, and cohesive service globally.

Qualifications

Your Profile

  • Minimum of 2-3 years experience in a technical support role.

  • Be proficient in the latest technologies and agile development processes

  • A technical appreciation of Cloud / SaaS solutions and architecture / security aspects.

  • Some exposure to global sales teams, and internal teams

  • Some experience with postman and API-calls is an advantage

  • An understanding of Procure to Pay space would be an advantage

  • An ability to learn quickly and have an appetite to consume as much information as possible

  • Experience with cloud computing, enterprise sales, and the importance of applying each within large corporations

  • Understand the demands of startup life and how to execute with urgency

  • Enjoy the turbulence that comes with a lean and agile team staying competitive in a well-developed area of enterprise sales

  • Highly collaborative among high-stress, cross functional internal teams

  • Language Skills: English (Mandatory), Fluency in an additional language such as French or German would also be advantageous.

  • Be highly responsive and able to reach positively and professionally to incoming partner requirements, which may be occasionally at short notice.

  • A great communicator - Good at documenting finding and creating quick-guides for the rest of the team.

  • Strong people skills, since you will be talking to a lot of different people from across the world and helping to resolve critical issues, before important presentations

  • An early bird is preferred, since all of the dev-teams are located in EU, and are active during US mornings.
